I’m Mike. I’m passionate about working with people and using resistance training and conditioning to elevate their wellbeing. My approach isn’t what you get with standard trainers: I have a professional background in ballet and contemporary dance, 10+ years experience in coaching movement with professional athletes, disabled individuals, and many complete gym newbies. Alongside my PT qualifications, I hold a Masters (MFA) in Dance Science since 2019, and will hold an MSc in Strength & Conditioning by 2026.

My approach
My approach draws from a wide body of knowledge blending strength & conditioning, somatic work, & sport biomechanics with a client centred approach. All of this using the gym equipment, machines, and you to reach physical milestones.
I offer regular 1:1 training sessions or a hybrid training approach which blends online coaching with less regular 1:1 sessions.
I bring expert knowledge and experience to all my clients with humility, compassion and a smile. My aim is to make people feel comfortable, empowered to use their bodies in a new way to achieve their goals.
